Federal Grants
Types of Grants | Description |
---|---|
Federal Pell Grant | A Federal Pell Grant funded by the U.S. Government for undergraduate students. This grant does not have to be repaid. |
Federal Iraq & Afghanistan Service Grant | Federal Iraq & Afghanistan Service Grants are funded by the U.S. Government for undergraduate students. This grant does not have to be repaid. |
Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) | FSEOG grants are funded by the U.S. Government for undergraduate students. This grant does not have to be repaid. |
Federal TEACH Grant | TEACH grants are funded by the U.S. Government. These provide funds to students who are completing or who plan to complete coursework that is required to begin a career in teaching, and who agree to teach full-time for at least four years. Terms and conditions of the grant include a service obligation. If the service obligation is not fulfilled, the grant converts to an un-subsidized loan. |

Florida state grants are awarded to eligible Florida residents attending Saint Leo University.

Effective Access to Student Education Grant (EASE) (Formerly FRAG) | The William L. Boyd, IV, Effective Access to Student Education Grant (EASE) Program provides tuition assistance to Florida undergraduate students. |
Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG) | The Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG) Program is a need-based grant program available to degree-seeking, resident, undergraduate students who demonstrate substantial financial need. |
Florida Bright Futures |
The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program establishes lottery-funded scholarships to reward Florida high school graduates for high academic achievement. The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program is comprised of the following awards:

Minority Teacher Education Scholarship | Minority Teacher Education Scholarships are a collaborative performance-based scholarship program for African-American, Hispanic-American, Asian-American, and Native American students admitted into eligible teacher education programs. |
Scholarships for Children and Spouses of Deceased or Disabled Veterans | This award is for dependent children or un-remarried spouses of qualified Florida veterans. |
Honorably Discharged Graduate Assistance Program (HDGAP) | The Honorably Discharged Graduate Assistance Program (HDGAP) provides need-based veteran educational benefits in the form of supplemental living expenses during holiday and semester breaks. |

Georgia State Grants
Georgia State grant funding is awarded to eligible Georgia residents attending school at one of our Georgia Education Centers
Types of Grants | Description |
Georgia Helping Outstanding Pupils Educationally (HOPE) | Georgia's HOPE Scholarship is available to Georgia residents who have demonstrated academic achievement. The scholarship provides money to assist undergraduate students attending Saint Leo University Educational Centers in the state of Georgia. |
Zell Miller Scholarship | Georgia’s Zell Miller Scholarship is available to Georgia residents who have demonstrated academic achievement. |
Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant (TEG) | The Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant is a non-need based grant for undergraduate students to encourage Georgia residents to attend Saint Leo University Education Centers in Georgia by providing grant assistance. |

The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides annual grants to students who plan to become teachers.
