All housing selection processes will be completed through our online RESIDENCE system by Symplicity. All Saint Leo University residential students will complete their housing application and room selection by logging into their RESIDENCE account. Your log in information will be as follows:
- Username: firstname.lastname@email.saintleo.edu
- Password: This is set as your Saint Leo email password.
Returning Residents
For the 2024-2025 Housing Selection Process, returning residents can access their RESIDENCE online accounts at any time. If you cannot access your account, you will most likely need to reset your portal password. Returning residents will use their online RESIDENCE accounts to complete the housing application and select their rooms.
2024-2025 Returner Housing Applications will be available beginning February 12, 2024.
- The Returner Housing application submission deadline (to participate in 2024-2025 housing selection) is March 11, 2024. Room selection is March 19 - March 29.
- In response to positive feedback about roommate satisfaction and the selection process, this year's priority will be given to roommate groups, from largest to smallest. Roommate group selection times will continue to be based on average credit hours completed per group.
- Day 1: Roommate Groups of 4 select
- Day 2: No selection taking place
- Day 3: Roommate Groups of 3 select
- Day 4: No selection taking place
- Day 5: Roommate groups of 2 select
- Day 6: No selection taking place

New Residents
If you are new to Saint Leo University housing, there are a few things to know before logging into RESIDENCE for the first time. To access your new RESIDENCE online account, you will first need to set up your Saint Leo University email account. You can do this by logging into your student portal account. Please make sure that your passwords are strong (at least 8 to 10 characters and include number(s)/symbols). Please note that newly admitted students will have to wait a minimum of 48 hours from the time of their deposit before they can access the RESIDENCE system.
2024-2025 First Year Housing Applications will be available beginning March 18, 2024
- The First Year Housing application priority deadline to submit is June 3, 2024.
- First year housing assignments will be made the week of June 30.
- Information on how to complete the housing application and roommate matching will be sent to your Saint Leo email account.
2024-2025 Transfer Housing Applications will be available beginning March 18, 2024.
- The Transfer Housing application priority deadline to submit is June 3, 2024.
- Transfer students will be placed into available space on a rolling basis as housing applications are approved.

Apartments 1, 2, 3, 4
Located on the north side of campus near Lake Jovita are Apartments 1, 2, 3, and 4. All four apartment buildings are home to upper-class students, though Apartments 1 and 2 are predominantly juniors and sophomores (with 190 residents) and Apartments 3 and 4 are predominantly seniors and juniors (with 320 residents). All rooms in Apartments 3 and 4 are single rooms that share a full kitchen, while Apartments 1 and 2 contain single or double rooms with full or efficiency kitchen options. Residents with a full kitchen have the choice of the 5, 10, or 19 meal plan, residents without a full kitchen will be on the 19 meal plan. The apartments have fifteen Resident Assistants (one RA per floor). Resident Assistants sit each night in the lobbies of each building. Apartments 3 and 4 have elevators and ground-level entrances on two floors (as they are built into a hill). Professional staff live on the first floor of each of the four Apartment buildings.

Apartments 5 and 6
Apartments 5 and 6 are our newest residence halls. Apartment 5 opened in August 2012 and Apartment 6 opened in August 2013. Apartments 5 and 6 are both four story buildings providing suite-style living for approximately 150 male and female students (per building) in separate suites. These apartments are open to all upper-class students. Most suites contain four single bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a common living area complete with furniture, a built-in flat screen television, and full size refrigerator. Each suite contains a common access storage closet located off the living room for bike and other storage. Each building has laundry facilities on the second floor and elevator access. All residents in Apartments 5 and 6 are on the 19 meal plan. There are four Resident Assistants per building (one on each floor). RA's can be found each evening in the common area on the first floor.
Apartment 5 features campus community space in the form of a large lounge area that includes gaming televisions/play area, a fitness center, arcade gaming area, large saltwater aquarium, and state of the art energy pods in our Relaxation Room.

Alumni Hall
Alumni Hall houses approximately 50 male and female first-year students in double rooms with private bathrooms. There are two floor in Alumni Hall with a Resident Assistant assigned to each floor. - Set up: Double rooms with private bathrooms. Alumni Hall and Roderick Hall share laundry rooms. The laundry rooms are located on the first floor of Roderick Hall.
- Meal plan: Unlimited meal plan is required.
Benoit Hall
Benoit Hall houses over 120 first-year male residents in a traditional "community style" layout. There are two floors separated into two wings with a Resident Assistant assigned to each wing. Rooms also feature a built in vanity (counter, sink, and cabinets). Adjacent to Benoit is an outdoor sand volleyball court, which can be used year-round and is shared with other east side residents. Henderson Hall
Henderson Hall houses over 180 first-year women in a traditional "community style" layout. There are three floors separated into two wings with a Resident Assistant assigned to each wing. Rooms also feature a built in vanity (counter, sink, and cabinets). In the building, the laundry room is located on the third floor and the game room and study lounge is located on the first floor. Marmion and Snyder Hall
Marmion Hall houses over 110 first-year men and Snyder Hall houses over 140 first-year women in a traditional "community style" layout. There are three floors in Marmion Hall and four floors in Snyder Hall with a Resident Assistant assigned to each floor. The Marmion laundry room is located on the first floor and the Snyder laundry room is located on the garden level. The buildings are most often referred to as "Marmion/Snyder" because the two buildings are physically connected by a lobby area on the first floor. Marmion/Snyder is known as "the" first year residence hall, though some freshmen residents live in Benoit or Henderson. The Marmion laundry room is located on the first floor. Resident Assistants sit at the front desk located in the main lobby each night, and residents can enter the building through the parking lot lobby entrance or the back entrance of the Lion's Den (facing main campus). - Set-up: Traditional community style layout. Double rooms line each hallway with community bathroom facilities on each floor. Marmion and Snyder Halls are physically connected by a lobby area on the first floor. The two halls also share the Lion's Den, a large game, fitness, and study lounge area.
- Did you know: Every Halloween, our college students and kids from local communities come to Saint Leo for "Haunted Marmion." Many departments and student groups help decorate, act & lead activities during this fun and spooky event. While Residence Life supplements the candy much of it is donated in the spirit of responsible stewardship from community partners and residents themselves.
Roderick Hall
Located on the east side of campus, Roderick Hall is a two-story building providing suite-style living for approximately 95 male and female students in separate suites. Each suite contains four single bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a common living area complete with furniture. Roderick Hall has two laundry facilities located on the first floor which are shared with Alumni Hall. All residents in Roderick are on the unlimited meal plan. Housing Forms and Important Dates
Hard copies of all the forms below are available in the Office of Residence Life. Not sure if you need a form or which form(s) you might need? Stop by and see us during office hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM). The Office of Residence Life is located on the first floor of Apartment 6. Not able to visit the office? Give us a call at (352) 588-8268 or email us at residence.life@saintleo.edu.
You can submit paperwork electronically by printing and completing the form(s), signing them, and then scanning and submitting them by email to residence.life@saintleo.edu; or by faxing them to (352) 588-8901. You can also mail hard copies of the documents to: Office of Residence Life, P.O. Box 6665, MC2068, Saint Leo, FL 33574.
Appeal Form - Students wishing to appeal a decision by their Conduct Meeting Officer must complete this form and submit to their Conduct Meeting Officer by the deadline listed in the outcome letter.
Early Arrival Housing Application - Students wishing to move into their residence hall room prior to the designated date and time for that semester need to complete the Early Arrival Housing Application. These applications can be made available by contacting the Office of Residence Life via email.
Residence Hall Housing Agreement - All University Campus students wishing to live on campus in the 2024 - 2025 academic year must complete and submit the Residence Hall Application/Agreement online. Students who are under the age of 18 at the time of application submission must also download, complete, and submit a paper copy of the form.
Room Change Request Form - Students requesting a room change may complete a Room Change Request form. The form must be submitted in person to the Office of Residence Life or via email to residence.life@saintleo.edu. Room Changes do not occur during the first two weeks of each semester.
Meal Plan Change Request Form - Students requesting a change in their meal plan (must live in Apartments 1-4 or East Campus) may complete.
Remedial Action Appeal Form - Students wishing to appeal a remedial action must complete this form and submit to the Office of Residence Life by the deadline stated in the remedial action letter.
Wet Room Agreement - If all residents in a room/apartment are 21 years of age (or older) they may apply for a "Wet Room" by submitting a "Wet Room Agreement" that can be picked up at the Office of Residence Life.
