What Degree Do You Need to Become a Social Worker?
To become a social worker, you will need a bachelor's degree in social work. Some roles, including clinical positions, may require a master's degree. But to begin your career in social work you will need a bachelor’s degree first. In some states, you may also need a professional license.
How to get a Master’s Degree in Social Work?
There are three different ways you could get a master’s degree in social work. You could enroll in our two-year program at Saint Leo University, our three-year program or our Advanced Standing program. Our MSW Advanced Standing program is also offered on both a full-time or part-time basis.
