Coming this Fall - Two new Minors!
This minor provides students with the opportunity to link an interest in sports with the technical and communication-related skills to pursue a dynamic career path across multiple media outlets.
Students will gain hands-on experience at events and develop skill in identifying and communicating key points of interest in sport.
- This minor is designed to provide non-business students with the essential business elements necessary to prepare for success in a work environment.
- Most graduates will work in some sort of business environment, regardless of industry and the courses in this minor are carefully curated to provide an overview of foundational business concepts with particular focus on marketing, management, entrepreneurship, leadership and business technology.
- Knowledge of these business disciplines will help graduates transition to a business environment and pave a pathway for career progression.

What motivated me to enroll was the flexible schedule the university was offering. When I tried out their eight-week courses, I loved them. The classes didn’t waste time, and the instructors were super supportive. I felt like the environment was more work-oriented with students who had careers already and were going back to school.
