Saint Leo University announced a new partnership with Complete Florida, a statewide initiative to help the more than 2.2 million Floridians who started college but never finished, get the degrees they need for the jobs they want.

"Through our partnership with Complete Florida we hope to provide access to high quality, higher-education through online learning," said Jeffrey Senese, president. "It is Saint Leo's aim to ensure successful degree completion through a student-centered experience. Complete Florida's work in supporting non-traditional learners makes us proud to work with them to help students throughout the state."

Saint Leo University is Florida's first Catholic institution of higher education, offering a liberal arts-based education for people of all faiths. Saint Leo educates more than 19,500 students each year through traditional, regional locations and online programs. From the time of its founding in 1889, Saint Leo has had the mission to educate and serve all students. Thousands of active-duty servicemembers, veterans, and family members earn affordable, accessible university degrees at Saint Leo.

Complete Florida is able to help active-duty servicemembers, veterans, and their families get their college degree or certificate, advancing their career, both in the military and after service. Through partner colleges and universities, including Saint Leo, Complete Florida is better able to not only help military-affiliated students, but all students. Complete Florida provides more than 200 online degree programs in industry clusters such as health care, education, business and management, and information technology.

"With an outstanding record of student success, Saint Leo University plays a crucial role in helping returning adults earn post-secondary degrees," said Dr. Michelle Horton, director of Complete Florida. "We look forward to a long and prosperous partnership, benefiting potential students throughout the state."
