Saint Leo University has partnered with AVENU Learning to offer online degree programs for English-speaking students in India.
Saint Leo University is collaborating with global education services partner AVENU Learning to offer selected degree programs fully online to English-speaking students in India, starting in October 2021.
In these programs, the student experience – from recruitment and admissions to the university's online coursework – will be localized for Indian students by AVENU Learning, working closely with Saint Leo to provide a quality learning experience relevant to the social and cultural experiences of international students.
Saint Leo's partnership with AVENU Learning extends beyond India, as AVENU also has helped to bring more than 20 of Saint Leo's online bachelor's and master's degrees to Spanish-speaking students in Latin America.
"Our World Campus essentially removes language and location as barriers to learning," said Saint Leo University President Jeffrey Senese. "From its beginnings, the university has been on the forefront of making a college accessible with the launch of the Center for Online Learning, education centers, and programs for military servicemembers. This new endeavor is yet another way that we will continue to deliver on our mission."
Founded as a joint venture between Southern New Hampshire University and the SEEK Group, AVENU supports global learners across a portfolio of partner programs including certificates, undergraduate, and graduate degrees.
"At AVENU Learning, our goal is expand access to quality, affordable online education, delivered in the language and cultural context of the learner," said AVENU Learning Chief Executive Officer Jade Roth. "Saint Leo University was a natural partner because it of its strong core values, longtime experience in offering online learning programs, and commitment to serving learners wherever they want to learn."
