The publication's 2016 "Best Online Programs" edition ranked Saint Leo high in its undergraduate bachelor's degree (tied for 43rd) and graduate business (non-MBA) (tied for 56th) programs. It was also recognized for its excellence in the MBA and graduate education online programs.
This is the fourth year U.S. News has numerically ranked online degree programs from scores of colleges and universities throughout the nation.
"Saint Leo continues to expand our Center for Online Learning offerings and leverage our technology to increase enrollment and opportunity," said Dr. William J. Lennox Jr., university president. "We are glad that more people are recognizing Saint Leo's online program and spreading the word about our quality and value."
More than 1,200 distance education degree programs were catalogued in the searchable online directory. Included were a general ranking of schools' online bachelor's degree offerings and discipline-specific rankings of online master's programs in business, engineering, computer information technology, nursing, criminal justice, and education.
