The Easter Bunny is going to be busy on the grounds of Saint Leo University on Tuesday, April 15! The university will host its 1889 Easter Egg Hunt, presented by AdventHealth Dade City, for area children up to 12 years old. There will be plenty of activities to keep them busy in addition to the egg hunt at this free event.
Children will have the opportunity to find up to1,889 eggs that will be hidden on the campus lawns (1,889 eggs for the year Saint Leo was founded — 1889.)
The event will take place 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, and children will be divided by age groups for the hunts.
Egg Hunt Schedule
Age 5 and Younger: 4:15 p.m.
Age 8 and Younger: 4:45 p.m.
Age 12 and Younger: 5:15 p.m.
Other Activities
In addition to the egg hunts, there will be crafts stations for the children, photos with the Easter Bunny, an inflatable slide, bounce houses, train rides, and discounted dining in the university’s Dining Hall. A dinner buffet with multiple stations serving fresh and delicious food will be open 4:30–8 p.m., and the cost is $10 for ages 6 and older and free for children 5 and younger. Credit cards are accepted; the Dining Hall does not accept cash.
