With a few taps on her smartphone, Caitie C. wins the top prize in the Snapshot #SaintLeo Photo Contest. Sharing Saint Leo Lions' pride pays off!

Caitie C., a student at Saint Leo's University Campus, was stopped at an intersection in Lutz, Fla., the first car in the line of traffic when a county bus turned left directly in front of her.

The side of the bus facing her was wrapped in an eye-catching Saint Leo ad, smiling graduates in black caps and gowns, the green and gold Saint Leo lion and logo prominent as the bus slowly passed in front of her.

With the light still red, she grabbed her smartphone and snapped a photo.

A few simple taps to add the #saintleo hashtag and post to Facebook ended up snagging Caitie a shiny new iPad as top-prize winner in the university's recent social media photo contest, Snapshot #SaintLeo.

The Snapshot #SaintLeo contest kicked off on Dec. 15 and concluded on Jan. 15. Students and friends of the university from a wide variety of cities and states posted photos of Saint Leo advertisements to their favorite social media sites – Twitter, Instagram and Facebook – using the tag #SaintLeo and were entered into four weekly drawings to win cool prizes.

While Caitie was the grand prize winner the final week of the contest, here are the other winners from weeks one, two and three and their prizes:

  • Thomas N.: "Swag Bag" containing a water bottle, baseball cap, and drawstring bag. Thomas posted a photo of Saint Leo bus wrap promoting Saint Leo Online to Instagram.
  • Brenda A: Canon - PowerShot ELPH 130 IS digital camera. Brenda posted a photo of a Saint Leo billboard promoting the Morrow, Ga. Education Center and degrees for adult learners to Facebook.
  • Emily P.: Beats by Dr. Dre - Beats Solo HD On-Ear Headphones. A University Campus student, Emily posted her Saint Leo Online image to Twitter.
