Saint Leo University is proud to be one of the oldest Catholic universities in Florida and the largest of four Catholic higher education institutions in Florida.
Our determination to make higher education more accessible to all has made Saint Leo a world leader in redefining the 21st-century university. We now serve more than 14,000 students from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, three U.S. territories, and more than 100 countries. Saint Leo University is proud to be one of the nation's leading providers of higher education to the U.S. military.

Meet Our President—Edward Dadez, Ph.D.

As the eleventh president of Saint Leo University, Dr. Dadez holds a strong passion and appreciation for Saint Leo’s core values; its diverse students, faculty, and staff; and life-changing mission. Before becoming the second provost of the university, he was a visiting professor in Graduate Education. He also held the position of vice president in support of the university’s regional education centers, online learning programs, student affairs, and campus operations.
