Delta, the international honor society in business,
management and administration, was established to encourage and
promote personal and professional improvement and a life
distinguished by honorable service to mankind.
Sigma Beta Delta espouses three key principles: wisdom, honor,
and meaningful aspirations. Members are challenged to pursue
wisdom, to accept honor as a constant companion, and to aspire to
goals that will chart them on the path of wisdom and honor
throughout their lives.
Lifetime membership in the society is the highest international
recognition a business student can receive at a college or
university with a Sigma Beta Delta chapter. Saint Leo University
was one of the original founding charters in early 1994. Today, the
society includes 300 chapters throughout the U.S. and abroad.

consistent with those of the university and the society's
encouragement of service to mankind.
Induction to the honor society is conducted during the chapter’s
ritual ceremony held at the main campus at the end of each spring
