2. What number do I call to find out if I have VA benefits?
The number is 888-442-4551.
3. I filled out the VA Online Application (VONAPP). What do I do now?
The VA representative at Saint Leo will require that you submit a copy of the application or a Certificate of Eligibility to him/her before he/she can certify you for any benefits.
4. Can I use my GI BILL in conjunction with Tuition Assistance (TA)?
If you are Active Duty military and have been in an active status for two years, then you are eligible for TA TOP-UP. TOP_UP will cover the unpaid balance not covered by TA. TA and GI Bill cannot be used in conjunction to pay for the same classes except in special cases. Please read more about that program on www.gibill.va.gov or www.voled.doded.mil go to 'services' and click on the link for your branch of service.
5. Can I use my GI BILL in conjunction with Financial Aid?
Yes.
6. Do we offer Advance Payment?
Saint Leo's Center for Online Learning does not participate in Advance Payment so you are required to pay for your tuition in advance. Please call 877-856-2144 Extensions 7351 or 7347 to find out about payment options.
7. How long does the VA take to reimburse?
The VA normally takes 45-60 days to reimburse you.
8. How many classes do I need to take for it to be considered full-time?
Full time status is two or more classes and half time is one class.
9. What is the pay rate for full time and half time?
Full-time pays $1368 and Half-time pays $684.
10. Who do I notify about my address change?

11. Do I need to contact my VA representative each month to be certified?
No; however, it is recommended to remind your VA Rep (by phone or email) each term that you have registered for classes. The only time that you are required to contact the VA representative at Saint Leo, is if there is a change in your enrollment status or program of training.
12. What do I need to do if I have changed my program of study?
You will need to complete the VONAPP form 22-1995 from the VA website. Be sure to provide your Saint Leo VA representative with a copy of the form submitted.
13. I am currently attending another University but I just want to take a few classes with Saint Leo. Will the VA pay for those classes?
In order to be reimbursed for those classes by the VA, your primary University needs to send the Saint Leo Certifying Official a letter stating that the classes that you will be taking with Saint Leo will count as credit toward your degree at your primary University. Once approved, the Certifying Official will submit your enrollment certification to the VA regional office in Atlanta, GA.
