Waiver Testing Information
The Waiver Exam tests your knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Windows/Internet. Any student can take the COM140 Waiver Exam. The student has to decide whether s/he wants to take the Office 2003 Waiver Exam or the Office 2007 Waiver Exam. If s/he picks one, takes it and fails, s/he does not get to try the other. The policy is very clear: barring some clear system malfunction, certified personal situation, or something clearly wrong, students get one and only one attempt to take the test. Should the student fail to log in and take the test during one term, s/he can try again in another term but should s/he log in and try the test and quit, s/he cannot do it again.
