Technology Showcase

Sponsored by the Division of Academic Affairs and the Department of Instructional Technology, the first Technology Showcase was held at the Student Community Center (University Campus) on January 07, 2009. Around twenty different types of technologies were presented. Over one hundred faculty and staff attended the event.

Clickers:
Also called as Student Response System. Clickers are used in the classroom to instantly collect students' respnose to quizzes, surveys, etc.

It is a kind of electronic overhead, which is connected to a projector with print materials imaged on a screen. It can also save print materials as digital images.

A collection of electronic artifacts to showcase academic or professional achievement. An ePorfolio is also an authentic instrument to assess students learning, professional development, etc.

A Web Conferencing tool, which provides live eLearning and web collaboration solutions for academic and corporate users.

Flip Video Camera:
A mini video/audio recorder with USB port which can be directly connected to a computer and load the recorded files.

A wireless device that can turn any white board into a visual screen to present engaging interactive content.
