Meal Plans

In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2012-2013 academic year. If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to inquire about making a change to your selected meal plan, please contact Residence Life at Ext. 8268.

Meal Plan A – Unlimited:
This year we are proud once again to present the Ultimate Dining Service at Saint Leo University. This plan offers unlimited entry, unlimited seconds and a wide variety on a daily basis. That's right! You have the opportunity to re-enter as many times as you like throughout the day. Only you can obtain a meal with your meal card. Meals cannot be shared. The Unlimited plan also includes $100.00 in bonus bucks that can be used at the Lions Liar located in the Student Community Center. Please note that bonus bucks do not carry over from each semester – so if you don’t use it, you lose it.

Meal Plan B – 10 Meals per Week: (Available only to Apartment 1-4 residents with kitchenettes)
Any 10 meals per week. This meal plan operates on a Sunday through Saturday weekly schedule. Meals that are not utilized for that week do not carry over to the following week. Only you can obtain a meal with your meal card. Meals cannot be shared.

Meal Plan C - 5 Meals per Week: (Available only to Apartment 1-4 residents with kitchens)
Any 5 meals per week. This meal plan operates on a Sunday through Saturday weekly schedule. Meals that are not utilized for that week do not carry over to the following week. Only you can obtain a meal with your meal card. Meals cannot be shared.

MEALS TO GO- REUSABLE CONTAINER PROGRAM
Eco Friendly is our motto in dining services. If you wish to get a container to go you may purchase a to-go container from the cashier for $3.00. this is a one- time fee as long as you bring back your container to the cashier. All you need to do is rinse the container out before giving it to the cashier on your next visit. The cashier will then give you a washed, rinsed and sanitized container to bring in to the dining hall. If you do not bring back your to-go container the next time you need one you will have to pay another $3.00. This program has successfully eliminated excessive Styrofoam container disposal, demonstrates the university’s commitment to reducing environmental impact of dining operations, reduces waste removal costs and engages the university community in responsible stewardship and environmental awareness. To Go containers are not available on weekends. No other containers may be substituted and no bottles may be brought into the dining hall.

USING YOUR MEAL CARD
Your Student ID is very important and must be presented EVERY time to eat any meal and gain entrance into the dining hall. Please feel free to inquire about your current account balance at any time. It is important that you monitor your balance to ensure that you are properly budgeting your account during the semester. In addition, our staff will be monitoring each account and notifying you if your balance is getting low. Your meal card is required for all transactions and is non-transferrable, therefore, only you can obtain a meal with your card. Your card can be used for unlimited entry into the dining hall throughout the day. Bonus bucks can be used at all dining service facilities on campus during regularly scheduled hours.
