South Carolina Graduates Gather in Sumter for Commencement

Graduating students who enrolled at Saint Leo University’s locations at Shaw Air Force Base, outside Sumter, SC, and at the Naval Weapons Station in Goose Creek, SC, will gather at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 14, for their commencement ceremony at the Sumter First Church of the Nazarene.
U.S. Air Force Colonel
Walter Fulda (pictured) , commander of the 20th Mission
Support Group at Shaw AFB, is the guest speaker. The colonel
graduated from The Citadel in 1987, and has earned two master’s
degrees. His military honors include awards for service in
Afghanistan and Iraq.
Bobby E. Harris, Jr., has been selected to give the class farewell
address. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer
information systems.
The academic degrees to be conferred during the commencement
ceremony include: the Associate of Arts; the Bachelor of Science;
the Bachelor of Arts; the Master of Business Administration; and
the Master of Science in criminal justice.
