Prominent Tampa Business Owner Speaks on Faith on Wednesday

Saint Leo University’s 2010-11 Lifework Leadership lectures begin
Wednesday, September 8 with a presentation from Tampa entrepreneur
Ray Murray. Murray has lived in the Tampa and Clearwater area since
he was a toddler. He began his first business at age 16, repairing
bicycles. Subsequently, he has owned 34 companies in sectors
including telecommunications, aerospace, consulting, construction,
and real estate development. Today he is chairman emeritus of
AccSys, Inc./Restaurant Magic, a provider of specialized software
to the restaurant industry. He likes to say: “I am in the people
business.” He is known for his talents in working with people on
many levels: spiritual, physical, and financial.
His presentation, called Body, Mind, Spirit and Money, will be held at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, in the Greenfelder-Denlinger Boardroom of the Student Community Center. The talk is part of the Lifework Leadership program, a model of leadership that is based on a Christian world view and that is transferrable to today’s marketplace.
