International Business Conference
December 13, 2010
The second International
Business Conference at Saint Leo University will take place from
Wednesday evening, February 16, 2011 through February 18, 2011.
Business professionals, scholars, and undergraduate and graduate
students readying themselves for a career in business are all
invited.
After a welcome dinner on Wednesday evening, participants and attendees will convene for two full days of presentations on international commerce. The keynote speech, from author and consultant David Pearce Snyder, on “The Future of International Business Education,” will take place during lunch Thursday.
Just a few of the presentation topics include: anticipated change in Cuba; the impact of the North American Free Trade Agreement; responses to environmental disasters; and genetically modified foods. All campus events will take place in the university’s Student Community Center. Attendees will be able to see, first-hand, from just yards away, construction thus far on the new, state-of-the-art facility for Saint Leo’s Donald R. Tapia School of Business.
More information on presentation topics, conference fees, and accommodations is available at the conference web page.
