Suburban Atlanta Location Expands, Adds Classrooms
April 10, 2012
Strong student interest has prompted Saint Leo University to double the size of the teaching location in Marietta, GA, less than two years after the space was originally opened for working adults in the suburban Atlanta area.
Three more classrooms, a conference room, two additional offices and a work room have been added at the same location, at1395 South Marietta Parkway, accessible from Interstate 75, on Atlanta’s northwest perimeter. Saint Leo originally took space in the office park in2010. The space opened with three classrooms and an additional student computer laboratory that can also be used for teaching. As there are now six classrooms, the center administrators have named each room after one of the university’s six core values, which are excellence, personal development, respect, integrity, community, and responsible stewardship. The computer laboratory has been named the Technology Center.
“It is exciting to expand a location like the Marietta Education Office because the students, faculty, and staff are all eager to make the highest possible use of the additional space and new technology for our values-based education,” said Jack Nussen, assistant vice president for continuing education.
The degrees offered in Marietta include the associate of arts and many bachelor’s degree options, including business administration, criminal justice, human resources management, religion, sociology, computer information systems and health care management.Additionally, students can earn the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree online.
