Walk anywhere on campus within 15 minutes, and say hello to at least 15 people you know along the way. We're that close of a community.
But once you venture off-campus, a car comes in handy—it's generally a 15 to 30-minute drive to dining, shopping and nightlife, and a 45-minute drive to the airport.
Most Saint Leo students have cars. But if you don't have a car or don't want to bring a car to college, that's okay, too. Our students are generous and help out one another. Plus, we organize transportation for your convenience:
Students are also welcome to bring bicycles. Bike racks are located outside residence halls. The Office of Campus Security & Safety handles registration, which is required.
Tampa International Airport is about 40 miles from Saint Leo University. We offer no-cost, scheduled shuttles to and from the airport at the beginning and end of each semester, Thanksgiving break and during the holiday season. Advance reservations are required through the Campus Security Office.
Snag a spot close to your 9 a.m. botany lab. Campus parking options include the new, nearly 740-spot garage underneath the soccer/lacrosse field, which opened Fall 2012.
Parking permits are required, and parking spots are unassigned; however, special parking privileges are available for disabled individuals.
