New Student Events

Saint Leo University offers several events to help prepare new students for their SLU experience.

Admitted Students Day

Admitted Students Day is an event exclusively for students who have been admitted to Saint Leo University for the Fall 2015 semester. The event is held in conjunction with the School of Arts and Sciences, the Donald R. Tapia School of Business, and the School of Education and Social Services.

Admitted students and their families will have the unique opportunity to get an even closer look at Saint Leo. Students are able to participate in activities within their school, meet faculty, and get to know other members of the incoming class. Parents will hear from parents of our current students as well as interact with members of our financial aid, student services and admissions teams. This event will run from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. with individual counselor meetings to follow by appointment.

Admitted students may register now:

New Student Orientation - Week of Welcome

Saint Leo University hosts our New Student Orientation - known as Week of Welcome - prior to the start of each semester. This multi-day event prepares incoming students for personal and academic success at SLU.

Information on Fall 2015 Week of Welcome will be posted when it becomes available.

Regional Summer Send-Offs

Join other new students and their families at a regional summer send-off event. These informal gatherings are hosted by Saint Leo alumni and parents in locations around Florida, Maryland, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts.

Bring your parents, and meet other students and families in your local area who will be attending Saint Leo in the fall, along with alumni eager to share their Saint Leo experiences.

Please note that these events are open to a very limited number of guests and registration is required.

Summer Send Off program information for 2015 will be posted in May 2015.
