With Saint Leo’s Marketing minor, you’ll gain the skills to build strong consumer relationships and brand loyalty in the 21st century global economy. The minor—offered through Saint Leo's IACBE-accredited Donald R. Tapia School of Business—will build a foundation for a future career in sales, advertising, retail, marketing research, management, customer relations, event planning and public relations.

Professional development opportunities

  • Internships: Write for a company blog. Promote a new product. Conduct market research. School of Business students have interned at Quest Corporation of America, Oglethorpe, Tampa Convention Center, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Home Shopping Network, TECO Energy and all branches of the military.
  • Professional memberships: Join the student chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and become an active member of its honor society, Alpha Mu Alpha.
  • Conferences: Attend annual and regional AMA conferences, and other industry events, including Saint Leo's annual International Business Conference.
  • Technology: Saint Leo's state-of-the-art School of Business building, which opened in 2011, features the latest in innovation—from interactive SMART Boards and a professional broadcast studio, to eco-friendly, sustainable architecture.
