Catholic Identity

Saint Leo University was the first Catholic university in Florida. Founded in 1889 by Benedictine priests, brothers, and sisters, the university has grown from its Pasco County location in Florida to educating nearly 15,000 students in seven states and worldwide, via online programs. The liberal arts university remains true to its core values, based on Rule of St. Benedict. The university welcomes learners of all faiths, and those with no religious affiliation.
